This vibrant image reflects the rich traditions, cultural pride, and enduring contributions of Hispanic communities across generations. The colorful artwork, traditional attire, and family representation symbolize the values, history, and achievements that continue to shape our communities and enrich our world. During Hispanic Heritage Month, we honor the diverse cultures, stories, and accomplishments of Hispanic and Latino individuals whose influence can be seen in education, art, science, leadership, and everyday life.
"There are uses to adversity, and they don't reveal themselves until tested. Whether it's serious illness, financial hardship, or the simple constraint of parents who speak limited English, difficulties can tap unexpected strengths."
— Sonia Sotomayor

A simple act of reaching out can make a profound difference. During National Suicide Prevention Month, we raise awareness about the importance of mental health, compassion, and human connection. By checking in on one another, listening without judgment, and encouraging open conversations, we can help create a world where no one feels alone in their struggles.
This month serves as a reminder that support, understanding, and hope can have a lasting impact. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a kind word, or seeking help when needed, every step toward connection matters. Together, we can break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage a culture where seeking support is recognized as a sign of strength.

Acknowledging American art allows us to appreciate the nation's cultural heritage, learn from its past, and better understand the diverse stories that shape American society.
American art preserves the nation's history, reflects the diverse cultures and experiences of its people, encourages creativity and innovation, helps shape and express American identity, and inspires awareness and change by addressing important social issues. Through its many forms, American art provides a deeper understanding of the country's past, present, and cultural heritage.

Approximately one in four adults in the United States lives with some form of disability. Fashion and the arts industries are most authentic and meaningful when they reflect the diverse communities they serve. Greater disability representation helps ensure that everyone can see themselves reflected in culture and creative expression. Awareness helps break outdated assumptions that disability limits creativity, beauty, or professional success. When people with disabilities are visible as designers, models, photographers, actors, dancers, musicians, and visual artists, it challenges misconceptions and promotes a more inclusive understanding of talent and achievement. It is about more than accessibility—it is about equity, creativity, representation, and belonging. When the fashion and arts worlds embrace disability inclusion, they become more innovative, more authentic, and more reflective of the full spectrum of human experience. Support Disabled Creatives!
It was a very special evening at the Southampton Cultural Center. Hosted by Long Island's accomplished and multi-talented Mark MK, our exclusive pre-show, The Makers & The Muses, featured presentations by emerging artists, musicians and a preview of the fashion designers and brands that will be showcased at our upcoming annual fundraising fashion festival, The Tents 2026. In partnership with theSIPnyc, and with the support of Kool King Coconut Water and contributor Ingenious Gin, the stage was set for an unforgettable evening—celebrating creativity, community, and the visionaries who inspire them with tasty libations and hors d'oeuvres. Thank you to all that attended and supported our mission.

We are so grateful. Your presence helped make this gathering a truly meaningful and memorable experience.

Our mission is to cultivate creativity, facilitate access, and equip young and old community members to lead productive, positive, and healthy lives through the mediums of fashion and the arts. We offer artists from diverse disciplines a high-quality platform to exhibit their work and refine their skills. Our commitment extends to empowering underserved communities by embracing, understanding, and including all individuals in every facet of life. This is all achieved through the transformative power of fashion and the arts.

Founded in 2008, the parent company Fashion And The Arts established the FATA Fund, Inc. to extend our reach. FATA has been a home for artists and art enthusiasts alike for over a decade. We have grown from a small group of friends who shared a passion for the arts to a thriving organization. We offer a range of events, workshops, exhibitions and outreach community programs throughout the year.

Our diverse team is made up of dedicated and talented individuals who share a commitment to our mission. From our board of directors to our volunteers, everyone at the FATA Fund works tirelessly to create a welcoming and inclusive arts community. Our diverse team is made up of dedicated and talented individuals who share a commitment to our mission. From our board of directors to our volunteers, everyone at the FATA Fund works tirelessly to create a welcoming and inclusive arts community. We have established an environment that welcomes individuals with developmental disabilities, all genders, and ethnicity. We acknowledge everyone's unique strengths and differences, ensuring they have access to the same opportunities as others.

This year, we are reaffirming our commitment to the transformative power of fashion and the arts—not merely as aesthetic expressions, but as cultural, ethical, and intellectual forces.
In a world increasingly shaped by innovation and introspection, our disciplines stand at the intersection of tradition and progress. Fashion continues to evolve as a language of identity and sustainability, while the arts remain a mirror to society’s deepest questions and aspirations.
This year, we invite our community to engage more deeply—with materials, with meaning, and with each other. Let us champion creativity that is conscious, design that is deliberate, and dialogue that is inclusive.
May 2026 be a year of bold ideas, thoughtful craftsmanship, and enduring impact. Join us by submitting your work or volunteering. We want to collaborate with you. May the year 2026 bring fresh ideas, refined craft, and fearless fashion.

At FATA Fund Inc., our commitment extends far beyond showcasing fashion, art, and creative talent. Our modeling classes are about much more than the runway. Our program helps participants build confidence, improve communication skills, develop professionalism, and strengthen leadership abilities. Through coaching in presentation, etiquette, teamwork, and personal branding, students gain valuable life skills that prepare them for success in school, careers, and their communities. While some may pursue modeling professionally, every participant leaves with greater self-esteem, discipline, and the confidence to pursue their goals. We don't just teach people how to walk the runway—we teach them how to walk confidently through life.
Our acting workshops are designed to develop the whole person—not just future actors. Through creative expression, storytelling, and performance training, participants gain confidence, strengthen communication skills, improve public speaking abilities, and learn valuable leadership and teamwork skills.
Our workshops provide a supportive environment where youth and adults can explore their creativity, develop emotional intelligence, enhance self-expression, and build the confidence needed to succeed in school, the workplace, and everyday life.
We don't simply train performers—we help individuals discover their voice, build character, and develop the skills to thrive both on and off the stage.
Through partnerships with for Good Shepherd Services , Young Adult Borough Centers and Brooklyn Community Services, FATA Fund Inc. provides internship opportunities for high school students and young adults to age 24 that equip young people with practical skills and real-world experience. Participants gain hands-on training in:
These experiences help build confidence, develop professional skills, and inspire future leaders to make a positive impact in their communities.
During Thanksgiving and Easter, we prepare and serve home-cooked holiday meals for women residing in domestic violence shelters. These meals are presented in a beautifully decorated, formal setting, creating a warm and welcoming experience that helps participants feel valued, celebrated, and connected during the holiday season. We have generously had the support of Assemblyman Clyde Vanel in our continued efforts.
We host safe Halloween celebrations for children living in high-crime neighborhoods, providing a fun, secure environment where families can enjoy the holiday without fear and children can simply be children.
Each year, our Christmas Toy Drive delivers gifts to children and families in need. For many of these children, the toys they receive through our event are the only gifts they will receive during the holiday season.
